Scobie has circa 20 years across voluntary carbon, international trade, cross-border commodities transactions and structured finance.

He was previously the Global Head of Origination, Structuring and Sales for Macquarie’s global carbon business.

Scobie has sat on the TSVCM, the Sustainable Markets Initiative Working Group on Carbon Markets and the EDF/High-Tide Foundation Steering Committee on mobilizing voluntary carbon markets.

He holds BSc (Biological Sciences), LLB (Hon) and a Master’s Degree in International Law from the Australian National University. He is currently an MBA candidate at Oxford University.
